The tourists who get to play Golf in Argentina will be able to visit this magnifies Estancias.
In 1599, the Jesuits settled in Córdoba, where since 1589 there already existed a small chapel which soon became insufficient to house the religious people, students and the faithful. Therefore, in 1608 the building works that would later turn into the present Jesuit block began. Subsequently, they were granted new plots of land in this same block.
By then, the Colegio Máximo had already been founded. Later, it became the base of the University, while in 1782 the Real Convictorio de Nuestra Señora de Monserrat occupied the southern section of the ancient Colegio Máximo. As time went by, the image and occupation of the block underwent a process of change, there remaining only a part of this historic Jesuit property. Nowadays, next to the Iglesia de la Compañía there is the main building of the President's Office of the Universidad Nacional, and both the Biblioteca Mayor and the Facultad de Abogacía (the School of Law) are located there as well; next to them, at the corner, the Colegio Nacional de Monserrat is located. On the other side of the church is the Jesuits' house, and at the entrance, the Capilla Doméstica, a small building with features similar to those of the church at the corner.
