The
region that lies on the eastern slope of the Sierras
Chicas, offers a hilly landscape with gentle
undulations, the presence of water in several rivers
and streams, and vegetation from the hilly woodland
area, with species from the "Chaqueño"
woodland region in the plain areas. Additionally,
there are the cultural testimonies of the colonial
past (such as the Capilla of Candonga, the
Jesuit Estancia of Jesús María
and Caroya's House).
Roads
and streams lined with ancient groups of trees, small-scale
towns and villages, with the ever-present background of
the Sierras Chicas, such is the scenery offered
by this region, ideal for carrying out countless activities
in close contact with Nature on a human-scale.
